March 2019 NE TX ARN Chapter Blog
Thank you to the Brain Injury Network of Dallas, in Plano, TX and Dr. Kelly Beck for the presentation on Continuum of Care at our March meeting and the staff for the tour. This is one of 17 Brain injury clubhouses throughout the country, and the only one in Texas, so it was a treat. We did have a board member from our local neuro nurses chapter in attendance and confirmed we will have a joint meeting in 2020. So, this will likely be an evening meeting and a good opportunity to network.
Our next meeting will be held Thursday May 16 at 3 PM at Medical City Plano, in their Community Classroom. The topic is “Behavior Following Brain Injury” and will be presented by Dr. Carlos Plata, PhD.
